Product details

The 1.8V to 3.3V supply range covers common core and I/O rails without an external level translator.

Standby function and low-power sleep

Active draw is 7.2 mA max at 30 MHz, so the standby savings are meaningful in battery-backed or ignition-off automotive domains.

4-SMD, no-lead exposed-pad package measuring 7.00 mm × 5.00 mm, seated height 0.90 mm max — the exposed pad needs a thermal via pattern under the part for best heat transfer to the ground plane. Surface-mount only; the 0.90 mm seated height fits standard 1.6 mm PCB stack-ups with clearance on the opposite side.

The DSC1001 series is Microchip's standard MEMS oscillator family; no direct successor has been announced.

Frequently asked questions

Does DSC1001AI1-030.0000T have a standby or power-down function?

Yes — a standby (power-down) function is built in. When asserted, the output goes high-impedance and the supply current drops to 15 µA max.
