125 MHz MEMS oscillator with AEC-Q100 qualification
The DSC1001AE2-125.0000 is a 125 MHz MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip's DSC1001 series, delivering a CMOS output with ±25 ppm frequency stability across its -20°C to 70°C operating range. Rated AEC-Q100, this oscillator is qualified for automotive applications — the MEMS resonator and CMOS output stage are tested to the reliability stress and temperature cycling requirements of that standard.
Standby power-down and supply current
A standby (power-down) function pulls the disable current to 15 µA max — when the enable pin is de-asserted, the output goes high-impedance and the core draws negligible current, useful for battery-backed or sleep-mode systems. Active supply current is 8.7 mA max at 125 MHz, a typical figure for a MEMS oscillator at this frequency and CMOS load.
Housed in a 4-SMD, No Lead Exposed Pad package measuring 7.00 mm × 5.00 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm — a standard 7050 footprint that matches many quartz oscillator layouts, easing drop-in replacement.
Active lifecycle and sourcing
It is suitable for both new designs and production replenishment. Sourced through independent distribution; quoted to order against the BOM quantity.
