7.5 MHz MEMS oscillator with AEC-Q100 grade
The DSC1001AE1-007.5000T is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip's DSC1001 series, delivering a 7.5 MHz CMOS output with ±50 ppm frequency stability across its -20°C to +70°C operating range. Rated AEC-Q100, this oscillator is qualified for automotive electronics — the MEMS resonator and CMOS output stage are screened to the reliability and temperature stress levels required for under-hood and cabin domain controllers. The standby (power-down) function drops supply current to 15 µA max when the enable pin is de-asserted, making it suitable for battery-backed modules that need to wake on a bus event without draining the reserve.
Supply range and package fit
Supply voltage spans 1.7V to 3.6V, covering 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V logic rails without an external regulator — the oscillator runs directly from the core or I/O supply of most MCUs and SoCs. Housed in a 4-VDFN with exposed pad (7.00 mm × 5.00 mm footprint, 0.90 mm seated height), the package is a surface-mount ceramic-like laminate that reflows with standard lead-free profiles. The exposed pad should be soldered to a ground-plane via array for thermal and electrical contact.
Active production — no LTB concern
Supplied on tape and reel (TR) for automated pick-and-place assembly.
