AVR16DD28-E/SS — 8-bit MCU with 125°C reach and analog density
It packs 22 I/O lines, a 19-channel 12-bit SAR ADC, and a 10-bit DAC — analog muscle that sets it apart from many 8-pin or 14-pin parts in the same speed class.
At 24 MHz the core executes most instructions in a single clock cycle, so the throughput is comparable to many 32-bit parts running at lower clock rates when the task is bit-banging or register-level control.
Analog and connectivity set
Nineteen 12-bit ADC channels cover a lot of sensor inputs — thermistors, potentiometers, current shunts — without needing an external mux. The single 10-bit DAC can generate a reference or an analog setpoint. On the digital side, the part speaks I²C, SPI, UART/USART, LIN, and RS-485, so it bridges directly to automotive and industrial buses without a protocol converter.
