ProASICPLUS FPGA – 300K gates in a 144-ball FBGA
The Microchip APA300-FG144I is a non-volatile FPGA from the ProASICPLUS family, offering 300,000 system gates and 73,728 bits of embedded SRAM in a 144-ball FBGA package. It operates from a 2.3 V core supply and provides 100 user-configurable I/O pins, making it suitable for glue-logic consolidation, interface bridging, and control applications in industrial environments.
On-chip memory – 73,728 bits of SRAM
The 73,728 bits of SRAM are organised as small dual-port blocks – enough for a 512×144 FIFO or a few coefficient tables, but not a full frame buffer. If your design needs more than 9 KB of RAM, budget an external SRAM or move to the IGLOO2 family.
Active lifecycle – no LTB on the horizon
Microchip continues to support the ProASICPLUS architecture for legacy and mid-density designs.
