1 Mbit I2C EEPROM for configuration and data logging
The Microchip 24LC1025T-I/SN is a 1 Mbit serial EEPROM with an I2C interface running at 400 kHz, organized as 128K x 8 bits.
The 400 kHz I2C clock is the standard fast-mode rate; if the bus already runs at 1 MHz, this part will force a speed-down to 400 kHz on that segment. Access time is 900 ns, and the page write cycle takes 5 ms — typical for this density class, but worth factoring into the firmware write routine if the system updates large tables at power-up.
It is ROHS3 compliant.
