1 Mbit serial EEPROM — I²C bus, 400 kHz
The Microchip 24LC1025T-E/SN is a 1 Mbit serial EEPROM organized as 128K x 8 bits, accessed over an I²C interface at clock frequencies up to 400 kHz. This density is the largest in the 24LC family — enough to hold a full firmware image, calibration tables, or configuration logs for an embedded controller without bank-switching.
Industrial temperature range and package
Write-cycle time is 5 ms per word or page. For a 128-byte page write, the total programming time is 5 ms plus the I²C addressing overhead — budget this into the firmware update routine so the host does not time out waiting for the ACK poll.
Lifecycle and compliance
The part is ROHS3 compliant, meeting EU and California restrictions without exemption conflicts.
Sourcing and availability
Available in Tape & Reel (TR) for volume pick-and-place or Cut Tape (CT) for prototype runs.
