Schottky diode for 200 mA rectification and fast switching
The 1N6677/TR is a Schottky barrier rectifier rated for 200 mA average forward current (Io) with a 40 V maximum DC reverse voltage (Vr). The 500 mV forward voltage drop at 200 mA is the conduction loss floor at full rated current — below that current the Vf drops further, keeping the junction temperature rise low in continuous duty. Reverse leakage is specified at 5 µA at the 40 V reverse rating. This leakage doubles with junction temperature, so at the 125 °C maximum junction temperature the standby current will be higher — budget the thermal derating if the diode sits near its reverse voltage limit in a hot environment.
The DO-204AH (DO-35) axial-lead glass package is a through-hole footprint for point-to-point wiring or PCB through-hole mounting. The 50 pF junction capacitance at 0 V, 1 MHz is low enough for high-frequency rectification up to several MHz — the Schottky barrier has no stored charge, so the recovery time is negligible. Supplied on tape and reel (TR suffix) for automated insertion equipment. The -65 °C to 125 °C junction temperature range covers military and industrial thermal environments — the diode operates from cold-soak to under-hood temperatures without derating the voltage or current ratings.
