3.3 V regulation at 5 W
The 1N6632 is a 3.3 V Zener diode rated for 5 W continuous power dissipation in a through-hole E axial package. Maximum impedance (Zzt) is 500 Ohms at the test current — this sets the dynamic resistance the Zener presents to the load. A lower impedance would hold the voltage tighter under load steps, but 500 Ohms is typical for a 3.3 V, 5 W device in this package class. Reverse leakage is specified at 300 µA maximum at 1 V reverse bias — well below the Zener knee, so the diode draws negligible current until it reaches the breakdown region. Forward voltage drop is 1.5 V maximum at 1 A forward current, useful if the part is also used as a rectifier in a pinch.
