440 V, 1.2 A, 30 ns trr — fast-recovery rectifier parametric note
Rated 440 V DC reverse voltage and 1.2 A average rectified current, the 1N6621/TR fits boost diode, snubber clamp, and output rectifier positions in off-line power supplies and DC-DC converters. Forward voltage is 1.4 V maximum at the rated 1.2 A forward current, a typical figure for a fast-recovery silicon rectifier in this voltage class.
Junction temperature range and leakage
Reverse leakage is specified at 500 nA maximum at the full 440 V reverse voltage, a low off-state current that minimizes power loss in high-impedance circuits or long-standby applications. Capacitance measures 10 pF at 10 V and 1 MHz, low enough that the diode does not load the switching node significantly in snubber or clamp roles.
Axial through-hole package
Supplied in an A, Axial through-hole package — the standard DO-41 or similar leaded form factor — which is hand-solderable and wave-solder compatible, and mates with common axial-lead rectifier footprints on single-sided or double-sided boards. The Tape & Reel (TR) packaging option suits automated insertion equipment and keeps the reels sealed with consistent date codes for production runs.
