Zener transient suppressor for 18V rails
The 1N6369/TR is a Zener diode from Microchip Technology designed for general-purpose transient suppression. It clamps at a minimum breakdown voltage of 21.2V and a maximum clamping voltage of 25.5V at the peak pulse current, making it suitable for protecting 18V nominal rails.
Bidirectional clamping and temperature range
A single bidirectional channel means the device clamps both positive and negative transients, simplifying BOM for AC-coupled or bipolar supply lines. No power line protection feature confirms it is intended for signal or low-power rail protection, not mains. The operating junction temperature range spans -65°C to 175°C, covering military and industrial thermal environments. The wide margin above typical ambient ensures derating headroom for sustained high-power pulses.
