1.3 A fast recovery diode with 30 ns trr — the recovery-time ceiling for 50 V rails
The 1N6076 is a standard fast-recovery rectifier from Microchip Technology, rated 1.3 A average rectified current (Io) with a 50 V DC reverse voltage (Vr) maximum. Its reverse recovery time (trr) is 30 ns — fast enough to catch the switching edge in a 50 V bus without the diode staying forward-biased into the reverse half-cycle. Reverse leakage is 5 µA at the rated 50 V blocking voltage, and the junction operates from -65°C to 155°C, covering both military cold-soak and hot-side power-supply environments.
Through-hole axial package — board-fit for PTH layouts
The diode comes in a through-hole axial package (A, Axial per the spec), bulk delivery. This is the standard leaded format for point-to-point wiring, terminal-board assembly, or through-hole PCB — no reflow profile needed, just a soldering iron or wave-solder bath. Forward voltage is 1.76 V maximum at 18.8 A forward current — a pulsed peak rating, not continuous. The continuous average is 1.3 A; the forward drop at that level is lower, but the 1.76 V figure gives the worst-case conduction loss for thermal budgeting in a snubber or freewheeling clamp.
