Fast recovery at 30 ns — switching loss floor for high-frequency rectification
The 1N6075US is a Microchip Technology fast recovery rectifier in a hermetic D-5A SQ-MELF package, rated for 150 V reverse voltage and 3 A average rectified current.
150 V blocking, 3 A forward — power rail and bus clamping fit
With a maximum DC reverse voltage of 150 V, the 1N6075US blocks on a 48 V or 72 V telecom bus with margin, and can serve as a freewheeling diode across a 120 V DC link. The 3 A average forward current (Io) supports continuous rectification in supplies up to about 150 W, while the forward voltage drop of 2.04 V at 9.4 A surge current (If) gives the thermal designer the conduction loss figure for worst-case inrush or pulsed loads.
-65°C to 155°C junction — military/aerospace thermal qualification
This qualifies the diode for avionics power supplies, satellite EPS buses, and engine-bay DC-DC converters where the ambient sees 125°C and the junction must survive above that. The hermetic SQ-MELF package (D-5A) is inherently moisture-resistant and suitable for high-reliability, sealed environments without conformal coating.
