Zener TVS diode for 43V rail protection
Its 48.5V minimum breakdown voltage and 70.1V maximum clamping voltage make it a direct fit for protecting 43V nominal rails in industrial power supplies, motor drives, and battery chargers. The DO-13 through-hole package suits point-of-use board-level clamping where a replaceable part is preferred over surface-mount.
Clamping voltage and surge current
At the 10/1000µs test waveform, the 1N6056A/TR clamps at 70.1V maximum while conducting 21.4A peak pulse current. The 1500W power rating is the product of those two numbers — a standard TVS sizing metric. For a 43V rail, the 70.1V clamp gives roughly 1.6× headroom above the nominal voltage, which is typical for protecting downstream DC-DC converters and IGBT gate drivers.

Temperature range and environment
The DO-13 package is a hermetic metal can — it handles humidity and thermal cycling better than molded plastic packages in harsh environments.
