Clamping voltage, breakdown, and peak current – the three numbers that matter
The reverse standoff voltage is 36V, so the diode stays off during normal operation. Breakdown starts at a minimum of 40.9V, and the clamping voltage at peak pulse current (25.3A) is 59.3V – that 18.4V window between breakdown and clamp tells you the dynamic resistance is low enough to protect downstream silicon rated for 60V.
