Breakdown and clamping – 28.5V min, 41.4V clamp
The 1N6050A/TR: This Zener TVS diode has a minimum breakdown voltage of 28.5V and a maximum clamping voltage of 41.4V at the peak pulse current of 36A (10/1000µs waveform). The reverse standoff voltage is 25V – the rail or signal line it protects must stay below this level during normal operation. For a 25V rail, that translates to roughly 36A of peak pulse current – enough for most industrial and telecom transient protection scenarios.
Bidirectional – single channel, symmetrical clamping
The 1N6050A/TR is a single bidirectional channel.
DO-13 through-hole – legacy footprint, tape and reel
The DO-13 is a hermetic metal-can package with two leads – confirm the hole spacing on your PCB matches the DO-13 footprint before committing.
