The 1N6029A is a 160 V Zener diode rated for 500 mW continuous power dissipation in a DO-35 axial-lead package — the 160 V nominal breakdown suits higher-voltage rail clamping or reference applications where a standard 15 V or 24 V Zener won't reach. Tolerance is ±10% on the Zener voltage, and reverse leakage is specified at 100 nA maximum at 99 V reverse bias — the leakage floor stays low enough that the diode won't load a high-impedance bias node at normal operating voltages.
