The 1N6024D is a 100 V Zener diode rated for 500 mW continuous power dissipation in a DO-35 axial package. The ±1% tolerance on the nominal voltage means the regulation point stays within 99 V to 101 V across the operating range — tight enough for precision bias supplies or voltage references where a standard 5% part would drift outside the load's tolerance band.
Wide temperature range and leakage performance
Operating from -65°C to 175°C, the device covers military and industrial temperature extremes without derating the 500 mW ceiling. Reverse leakage is specified at 100 nA maximum when biased at 76 V — 24 V below the Zener knee — so the diode does not load the circuit until it reaches the breakdown region. The 500 Ohm maximum Zener impedance (Zzt) at the test current keeps the dynamic resistance low enough that the output voltage shifts only a few hundred millivolts under a 10 mA load swing.
