100 V Zener in a DO-35 body
The 1N6024C is a 100 V Zener diode in a DO-35 axial-lead package, rated for 500 mW continuous power dissipation. The ±2% tolerance on the nominal Zener voltage means the regulation point stays tight — useful when the 100 V rail feeds a downstream regulator or a reference that cannot drift more than a couple of volts.
Leakage and temperature range
Reverse leakage is specified at 100 nA maximum when the applied voltage is 76 V — that is 24 V below the Zener knee, so the diode draws negligible current in the blocking region. Maximum impedance (Zzt) is 500 Ohms at the Zener test current. This is the dynamic resistance at the operating point; a lower Zzt means better regulation against load-current changes, and 500 Ohms is typical for a 100 V, 500 mW device in this package.
