Leakage and impedance at the operating point
Reverse leakage is specified at 100 nA maximum at 62 V, which is 75% of the nominal zener voltage — this tells you the diode is already well into breakdown at that bias, so the leakage spec is conservative for lower-voltage standby circuits. The maximum Zener impedance (Zzt) is 280 Ohms, which means the regulation voltage shifts by up to 280 mV per mA of operating current; for precision clamping, keep the bias current above 1 mA to operate past the knee of the I-V curve. Forward voltage is 1.1 V maximum at 200 mA, so the diode can serve double duty as a reverse-polarity protection element in low-current DC paths — the DO-35 glass body handles the 200 mA pulse without thermal stress.
Temperature range and board integration
Through-hole mounting with axial leads means it fits into existing wave-solder or hand-solder builds without a board spin; the Bulk packaging suits low-to-medium volume kitting where tape-and-reel isn't justified.
