7.5 V regulation at 1 W — the DO-41 workhorse
The 1N4737PE3/TR12 is a 7.5 V Zener diode in the industry-standard DO-204AL (DO-41) axial package, rated for 1 W continuous power dissipation. With a ±10% tolerance and a maximum Zener impedance of 4 Ohms at the nominal voltage, this diode provides a stable reference or shunt regulator for low-power rails where the load current stays within the 1 W ceiling.
Leakage and forward characteristics
Reverse leakage is specified at 10 µA maximum when biased at 5 V — this is the standby current the downstream circuit sees before the diode enters breakdown. Forward voltage (Vf) is 1.2 V maximum at 200 mA forward current, typical for a silicon Zener in this power class; the forward drop matters if the diode is also used as a low-current rectifier or clamping element.
Supplied in Tape & Reel (TR) packaging for automated assembly; the through-hole DO-41 body requires no special handling beyond standard axial component insertion.
