Product details

PTC resettable fuse for low-resistance board protection

The Littelfuse 1206L500/12SLPR is a polymeric PTC resettable fuse from the POLY-FUSE® LoRho series, designed for overcurrent protection on low-voltage DC rails up to 12 V. With a 5 A hold current (Ih) and a maximum interrupt current of 50 A, it trips in 2 seconds under fault conditions, then resets when power is removed and the device cools. The LoRho variant keeps initial resistance at a minimum of 1 mOhm and post-trip resistance at a maximum of 12 mOhm, minimising I²R losses in normal operation — critical for battery-powered or high-efficiency designs.

Package, approvals, and operating range

Approved by cURus and TUV, it carries the key safety certifications for North American and European markets.
