Polymeric PTC resettable fuse — 350 mA hold current, 1206 SMD
The Littelfuse 1206L035/30WR is a polymeric positive temperature coefficient (PTC) resettable overcurrent protector from the POLY-FUSE® 1206L series. Rated for a hold current (Ih) of 350 mA maximum and a trip current (It) of 750 mA at 30 V maximum, with a maximum fault current capability of 100 A. The typical time to trip at 8 A is 100 ms, meaning it clears fast under heavy overload while avoiding nuisance trips on short inrush events. Packaged in a 1206 (3216 metric) concave surface-mount footprint — 3.20 mm length by 1.65 mm width, 1.00 mm max thickness. The concave terminal design improves solder joint inspection and rework access compared to flat-chip packages.
AEC-Q200 qualification — automotive-grade reliability
Rated AEC-Q200, the passive-component automotive stress qualification standard. This means the part has passed thermal shock, moisture resistance, mechanical shock, vibration, and solderability tests per the AEC-Q200 flow — required for under-hood, cabin, or chassis-mounted electronics in passenger and commercial vehicles. The hold current derates with temperature — at 85°C the effective Ih is lower than the 25°C rating, so the BOM engineer should apply the manufacturer's derating curve for high-temperature deployments. Approvals include cURus (Canadian/US recognition for overcurrent protectors) and TUV (European component-level safety mark), covering North American and EU regulatory acceptance. RoHS/REACH compliance documentation is standard from Littelfuse for this series.
