The DO-214AB package reworks cleanly under hot air — the body is large enough to grip with tweezers without slipping, and the solder pads are visible for alignment. No hidden thermal pad underneath, so the part lifts without cooking the board if you preheat the pad area first. Operating temperature range of -55°C to 150°C means the part survives typical reflow profiles without moisture sensitivity issues, though standard MSL handling applies.
