The 1.5SMB33CA: The reverse standoff voltage is 28.2 V, meaning the diode draws negligible leakage below that rail level. That 59 V ceiling is the hard limit the protected IC sees during a surge — important when the downstream part has a 60 V abs-max rating. It is a single bidirectional channel, so one device clamps both polarities on a signal pair or DC rail.
