640-logic-element MachXO2 — low-power glue logic in a rework-friendly package

The Lattice LCMXO2-640ZE-2TG100I is a MachXO2 FPGA with 640 logic elements (80 LABs/CLBs) and 78 user I/O in a 100-TQFP (14x14 mm) package. The 18432 bits of distributed RAM (sysMEM block RAM plus LUT-based distributed memory) handle small FIFOs, register files, or lookup tables without external SRAM. The 78 I/O are banked with separate VCCIO supplies, so you can interface a 1.2 V core to 3.3 V peripherals on the same die.

Industrial temperature range and board-fit for rework

The 100-TQFP package has a 0.5 mm pitch — hand-solderable with a fine tip and magnification, and reworkable with hot air without a preheater if the board is thin. The TQFP body is 14x14 mm with a 1.6 mm seated height — fits under a heatsink or in a tight enclosure without clearance issues. The exposed pad on the bottom is not a thermal pad on this package variant; all heat dissipates through the leads and the board copper.
