1280 LUTs in a 144-TQFP — board-fit and logic budget
The LCMXO2-1200HC-6TG144C is a Lattice MachXO2 FPGA with 1280 logic cells (LUTs) and 107 user I/O in a 144-TQFP (20x20 mm) package. The 1280-cell count places it at the low end of the MachXO2 family — enough for glue logic, small state machines, bus bridging, or CPLD replacement, but not for large datapath or video processing. The 107 I/O in the 144-TQFP means roughly 37 pins are power or no-connects — the package gives good I/O density without forcing a high-layer-count board. The 0.5 mm pitch QFP is a standard pick-and-place footprint; no exotic fan-out or blind vias required.
That simplifies the power tree but means the I/O banks all swing at the same voltage — no mixed-voltage interface on the same die without external level translation. The operating temperature is 0°C to 85°C (commercial grade). No industrial or extended range is listed — this part is intended for indoor, temperature-controlled environments. A design that sees -20°C or 105°C ambient needs a different temperature grade variant in the MachXO2 family. On-chip memory totals 65536 bits (64 Kbit) distributed across the fabric. That is enough for a small FIFO, a look-up table, or coefficient storage, but not for a frame buffer or large data cache. The 160 LABs/CLBs each contain local routing and register resources.

ROHS3 compliant — no RoHS exemption expiry to track for EU or UKCA markets. The part ships in a Tray, which is the standard handling format for QFP packages through assembly.
