The LCMXO2-1200HC-4TG100I is a MachXO2 family FPGA from Lattice, built around 1280 logic cells (LUTs) arranged in 160 LABs/CLBs, with 64 Kbit of embedded block RAM and 79 user I/O brought out to a 100-TQFP package. The 1280 LUT count places it in the entry-to-mid range of the MachXO2 series — enough glue logic for a 32-bit bus bridge or a modest state machine, but not for a soft-core processor with peripheral set.
The junction temperature limit is 100°C, not 125°C — so if the board sits near a hot power stage or in a sealed enclosure, budget the thermal rise from the 1.2 mW static power (typical at 25°C) plus dynamic power from the I/O toggling. The 100-TQFP's exposed pad helps; a thermal via array under the pad is recommended on page 7 of the MachXO2 hardware checklist.
The 100-TQFP (14x14 mm body, 0.5 mm pitch) is a standard fine-pitch QFP — four-layer board with ground plane under the centre pad is sufficient for fan-out. The 79 I/O count means 21 pins are power or ground; the datasheet recommends one 0.1 µF cap per VCC pair, placed within 5 mm of the pin. For pick-and-place, the tray is compatible with JEDEC standard tray dimensions; if your line runs only reel-fed, request a quote for tray-to-reel transfer.
ROHS3 compliant. No minimum order quantity is imposed.
