MachXO2 — 1280 LEs in a 132-ball CSPBGA
The Lattice LCMXO2-1200HC-4MG132C is a MachXO2 FPGA with 1280 logic elements and 104 user I/O, packaged in a 132-ball CSPBGA (8x8 mm). The 160 LABs/CLBs and 64 Kbit embedded RAM give it enough fabric for glue logic, bus bridging, or control-plane sequencing — tasks that would otherwise eat a handful of 74-series parts or a larger FPGA.
The 104 I/O count means most balls are signal; the remaining balls are supply and ground, so the power distribution network on the board needs careful decoupling per the MachXO2 hardware checklist. The package is surface-mount only, supplied in tray format.
