Housed in a 48-lead TQFP (7x7 mm body, supplier device package 48-TQFP), the LC4032ZE-7TN48I is a surface-mount CPLD that routes 32 I/O to the board — the 0.5 mm pitch demands careful fan-out on a 2-layer board; a 4-layer stack-up with a dedicated ground plane is recommended for signal integrity at the 7.5 ns edge rate. The device is in-system programmable (ISP), so the 48-TQFP can be soldered and programmed after reflow — no socket needed for firmware updates during production.
