The TPSV476M035R0150: The 150 mOhm ESR is the figure that governs ripple-current handling and output-voltage droop under transient load — a 47 µF bulk cap with this ESR can absorb roughly 1.5 A ripple at 100 kHz before the internal temperature rise exceeds the derating curve, assuming the board's thermal resistance keeps the ambient below 85°C. The 35 V rating at 47 µF means the designer has about 50% derating margin on a 24 V rail — standard practice for tantalum capacitors to avoid surge-current failures on power-up.
