The TPSV337M006R0100: The 100 mOhm ESR keeps ripple heating manageable in DC-link or output-filter roles — a lower ESR than the generic 150 mOhm parts in this case size, so the self-heating at the same ripple current is about two-thirds that of a standard-grade cap. At the high end the capacitance shift and leakage increase follow the standard tantalum derating curve — the 6.3 V rating should be applied at no more than 50 % of rated voltage (3.15 VDC) for reliable operation above 85°C, as per AVX application notes for the TPS series.
The surface-mount package suits reflow assembly; the molded body provides mechanical protection and a standard footprint for pick-and-place. Supplied on Tape & Reel, it is ready for automated assembly lines. The V case code is a common size for the TPS series, so the PCB land pattern is widely documented.
