Temperature range and operating envelope
The TPSE477M004R0045: Tantalum capacitors derate capacitance and increase ESR at low temperature — at -55°C the capacitance drop is typically 10-15%, and ESR roughly doubles, but the 45 mOhm baseline means the ESR at cold still stays under 100 mOhm for most of the range. The ±20% tolerance is standard for tantalum electrolytics — the actual capacitance at 4 V bias will sit near the nominal 470 µF; derating to 50% of rated voltage (2 V) is common practice to improve reliability in low-impedance circuits.
Sourced to order through independent distribution channels. No minimum order quantity restrictions beyond standard reel packaging.
