The KYOCERA AVX TPSE336K025S0175 is an active-production molded tantalum capacitor in the TPS series, rated 33 µF at 25 V with ±10% tolerance. The 175 mOhm ESR sets the ripple-current ceiling — at 100 kHz switching frequencies typical of point-of-load converters, this ESR keeps self-heating within the -55°C to 125°C operating envelope.
Temperature range and construction
Molded construction provides a sealed moisture barrier over the MnO2 cathode — the TPS series is AVX's standard low-ESR platform for general-purpose power-supply bypass.
