Temperature range and ESR stability
The TPSD477K002R0035: Rated -55 °C to 125 °C operating range — full military temperature band, not just industrial. The 35 mOhm ESR is specified at 25 °C and 100 kHz; expect it to rise at low temperature and fall slightly at high temperature, but the molded construction keeps the mechanical stress on the dielectric uniform across the range. ±10% tolerance on the 470 µF nominal means the minimum capacitance at rated voltage and temperature is 423 µF — enough headroom for a bulk decoupling bank where the downstream LDO needs at least 400 µF to stay stable.
