330 µF, 10 V, 150 mOhm — bulk decoupling on a tight rail
The TPSD337M010H0150: The 150 mOhm ESR keeps ripple heating manageable in a bulk decoupling role — for a 1 A ripple current the self-heating is under 0.15 W, well within the D-case thermal budget. Operating from -55°C to 125°C, it covers the full industrial and military temperature band. The 10 V rating at 330 µF gives about 16.5 mJ of stored energy — enough to hold up a 3.3 V rail through a 10 ms brownout at moderate load.
D-case footprint and board-fit
The molded construction provides consistent coplanarity for reflow soldering — no conformal-coat wicking issues common with wrapped-case tantalums. Surface-mount assembly on standard FR-4; the D-case footprint is shared across multiple tantalum vendors, simplifying second-source qualification.
