The TPSD157K016R0085 is a 150 µF molded tantalum rated at 16 V with an 85 mOhm ESR — the ESR is what matters most for a power-stage filter because it determines the ripple current the part can handle before self-heating pushes the core above the 125°C ceiling. At 16 V, this part sits comfortably on a 12 V or 5 V rail with derating margin; on a 12 V rail the 50% voltage derating rule-of-thumb is satisfied.
The molded case and 85 mOhm ESR keep the ripple-current derating manageable across the range.
