100 µF, 10 V, 65 mOhm — molded tantalum for power and decoupling
Its 65 mOhm equivalent series resistance (ESR) makes it a strong candidate for bulk decoupling and output filtering on power rails where low impedance at switching frequencies matters. The 2917 (7343 Metric) case — 7.30 mm x 4.30 mm footprint, 3.10 mm seated height — is a standard size for power-supply bypass on dense PCBs. The molded construction provides mechanical stability and moisture resistance during reflow.
The wide range means the capacitance and ESR stay within spec across the thermal extremes a board sees in a sealed enclosure or outdoor cabinet. Surface-mount assembly on a 2917 pad: the anode (+) end is marked with a band.
