47 µF, 16 V, 350 mOhm — bulk decoupling for tight boards
The 350 mOhm ESR is the key thermal parameter: it sets the ripple current the part can handle before self-heating pushes the core temperature above the 125°C ceiling. For a 16 V rail that sees 100 kHz switching ripple, this ESR keeps the internal temperature rise under control without oversizing the case.
No last-time-buy window, no successor to track. The TPS series is a mature, widely stocked line — the buyer can plan multi-year production without an EOL scramble.
The molded case (2312 / 6032 Metric) stands up to the thermal cycling without cracking the dielectric.
