Molded tantalum, 100 µF, 75 mOhm ESR
The TPSC107K006R0075: This is a KYOCERA AVX TPS series molded tantalum capacitor — 100 µF ±10% at 6.3 V, with a 75 mOhm ESR in the 2312 (6032 Metric) case. The molded construction gives it a solid body that resists mechanical stress better than conformally-coated parts; useful if the board sees vibration or if you are hand-placing a replacement without a reflow oven.
What the ESR means on your rail
The 75 mOhm ESR keeps ripple heating low in a buck output filter or a digital load's decoupling bank. At 100 µF, the ESR dominates the impedance at switching frequencies above 100 kHz.
