68 µF, 10 V, 600 mOhm — bulk decoupling on medium rails
Tolerance and derating — what ±20 % means in practice
The ±20 % tolerance is standard for tantalum electrolytics — the actual capacitance at 25 °C can range from 54.4 µF to 81.6 µF. For bulk decoupling this is fine; the ESR dominates the filter corner, not the absolute capacitance. Voltage derating to 50 % of rated voltage (5 V applied) is common practice to improve reliability and reduce failure rate in high-temperature or high-vibration environments.
