33 µF bulk decoupling – ESR and temperature grade
The TPSB336K016R0350: 33 µF at 16 V rated, ±10% tolerance, in a molded tantalum B case (1411 / 3528 Metric). 350 mOhm ESR sets the ripple current ceiling and the self-heating under AC load – for a 100 kHz buck output, the ESR dominates the capacitor loss term. The tantalum dielectric holds capacitance across the range; ESR rises at cold end but stays within the derating curve.
Lifecycle – still in production, no LTB clock
Active product status per KYOCERA AVX.
B case size: 3.50 mm x 2.80 mm footprint, 2.10 mm seated height. The 1411 (3528 Metric) pad layout is standard – no via-in-pad needed, but the cathode pad should be tied to the ground plane with a thermal relief for hand-solder or rework.
