For a 100 kHz buck converter output, the ripple current through this capacitor is set by the ESR, not the capacitance — the 1 Ohm value means the capacitor runs cooler than a lower-ESR part would in the same spot, but the voltage ripple will be proportionally higher. Match it to the ripple budget of the downstream load.
