Molded tantalum for power-rail decoupling
ESR and ripple current trade-off
With a 400 mOhm equivalent series resistance, this part handles moderate ripple current — enough for most linear regulator outputs or low-power DC-DC converters. The ESR is higher than the 300 mOhm TPSB226K020R0300 sibling, which means slightly more self-heating under the same ripple; check the ripple current derating if the load exceeds 500 mA RMS.
