The TPSB225K035R2000 is a molded tantalum capacitor from the TPS series, rated 2.2 µF at 35 V with ±10% tolerance and a 2 Ohm ESR. The 2 Ohm ESR is the key trade-off: it limits ripple current capability but provides a stable impedance across temperature and frequency, which matters for output filtering in DC-DC converters where the capacitor sees AC ripple.
