15 µF bulk decoupling for 20 V rails
The 20 V rating gives headroom on a 12 V or 5 V rail, and the 500 mOhm ESR keeps ripple current within the package's thermal limit — a common choice for output filtering on a 12 V-to-3.3 V buck converter or for bulk decoupling on a 20 V supply bus.

Molded tantalum — the epoxy case is moisture-sensitive, so a bake before reflow is needed if the reel has been opened and exposed to ambient humidity. The 3.50 mm x 2.80 mm footprint is small enough for dense layouts but the 2.10 mm seated height means it will not clear a 2 mm standoff under a cover. Pin 1 polarity is marked on the case top; orientation is easy to verify under a microscope.
