The TPSB156K010A0600 is a 15 µF, 10 V molded tantalum capacitor from KYOCERA AVX's TPS series, housed in the compact B case size (1411 / 3528 metric). The molded construction gives a consistent outline for pick-and-place and a lower profile (2.10 mm seated height) compared to conformal-coated parts, which matters for card-edge or mezzanine assemblies where height is constrained.
The molded case holds the dielectric seal across thermal cycling better than a dipped part.
The part can be specified for new designs without a forced migration path.
