The TPSB155K025R1800 is a molded tantalum capacitor in the TPS series from KYOCERA AVX, rated 1.5 µF at 25 V with ±10% tolerance.
The molded construction provides better mechanical stability than conformal-coated parts under thermal cycling, which matters when the board sees rapid temperature swings from -55 °C cold soak to +125 °C operating.
