150 µF, 10 V, 45 mOhm ESR — why the low ESR matters
The 45 mOhm ESR is the spec that separates it from standard tantalums: at 150 µF, that ESR keeps ripple heating low in a DC-DC output filter or a bulk decoupling bank. A higher-ESR part would run hotter and derate the ripple current ceiling — this one lets the board handle more ripple without oversizing the capacitor.
