The TPME158K002R0012: Rated 1500 µF at 2.5 V, this molded tantalum part is sized for bulk decoupling on sub-3.3 V power buses — think FPGA core rails, DDR termination, or POL converter outputs where the capacitance bank must absorb load transients without the voltage droop exceeding the tolerance band. The 12 mOhm ESR keeps ripple heating low and improves the capacitor's ability to deliver current during a fast load step — a 2 A transient sees only a 24 mV IR drop across the ESR, leaving most of the voltage margin for the load.

Supplied in the standard 2917 (7343 Metric) case with a size code E footprint — 7.30 mm x 4.30 mm x 4.30 mm seated height — compatible with existing 2917 land patterns and standard reflow profiles for tantalum chip capacitors.
